The selected Research Fellow will be responsible for leading and managing research activities relating to the project titled “Geotechnical Engineering for Offshore and Coastal Structures.” Some key duties include conducting advanced geotechnical analyses, overseeing laboratory and field investigations, preparing technical reports and publications, and coordinating with collaborators across institutions. He/she also has to be involved in supervising research assistants, ensuring compliance with safety and ethical standards, and contributing to the preparation of progress reports and grant documentation.
• Possess a PhD degree in relevant fields such as Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Earth Sciences, Remote Sensing, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Demonstrated strong research interest, skills, and experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) and experience with data analysis tools.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Open to fixed-term contract.
