Job Description
The OpportunityThis is a rare opportunity to shape the people strategy of a highly respected organisation operating at scale. Reporting to senior management, the HR leader will lead a sizable HR team and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, talent development and culture transformation. The role also offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, requiring a leader who can balance strategic vision with strong execution.Workforce Transformation & Organisational DevelopmentYou will play a key role in building a future-ready workforce by:
- Driving workforce planning and succession strategies
- Enhancing leadership and talent development programmes
- Leveraging people analytics to support strategic decision-making
- Supporting HR digitalisation and the adoption of emerging technologies
- Strengthening organisational capability to support long-term growth
Strategic Stakeholder ManagementA critical aspect of the role involves partnering with senior leadership to:
- Present and influence people-related initiatives
- Develop policies and proposals for executive review
- Provide strategic counsel on organisational and workforce matters
- Support decision-making through data-driven insights and recommendations
Leading the HR FunctionYou will oversee the full spectrum of HR activities, including:
- HR Business Partnering
- Talent Acquisition
- Learning & Development
- Compensation & Benefits
- HR Systems & Technology
- Employee Engagement and Culture
- Performance and Talent Management
Leading a team of approximately 30 professionals, you will continue to enhance HR service delivery while fostering a high-performing HR organisation.
The Successful Applicant
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree qualified with extensive HR leadership experience gained within large and complex organisations preferably listed companies and sizable conglomerates.
- Proven track record driving transformation, organisational change and talent initiatives
- Experience engaging senior executives, boards, committees or governance bodies
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to property, infrastructure, engineering industries are of an advantage.
- Passionate about people, organisational effectiveness and future workforce trends
