Manager Supply Planning Analytics, based in
Sofia.
The opportunity
We are looking for a Supply Planning & Analytics Manager to lead and optimize planning processes while driving data-driven decision-making across the supply chain. This role is ideal for someone who combines planning expertise with exceptional analytical skills, especially in Excel and planning systems.
Requirements
Your experience and qualifications
- Understanding of demand planning and supply planning principles and best practices
- Superb analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, macros/VBA is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with planning systems (e.g., ERPs, SAP, S&OP tools)
- Ability to structure complex data, identify patterns, and turn analysis into clear business recommendations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analyses to non-technical audiences
Nice to Have
- Experience leading or mentoring planners or analysts
- Background in FMCG, pharma, manufacturing, or complex supply chains
- Knowledge of SAP BI, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Own and continuously improve planning processes to ensure optimal service levels and inventory performance
- Develop and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and reports to support planning decisions
- Lead scenario planning, risk analysis, and what-if simulations
- Drive planning system utilization, enhancements, and data quality improvements
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders based on robust data analysis
