Core responsibilities of the role
Serves customers by helping them select products. Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner. Typically the first point of contact within a company or business.
The day-to-day functions of the role
- Greeting and serving customers by building rapport through conversation and honest recommendations.
- Ringing up sales and arranging for delivery or pick-up of the customer’s order if needed.
- Inviting the customer to join our loyalty program
- Handling payments.
- Ordering stock.
- Assisting in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor.
- Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times.
Requirements
- Fresh School Leavers/ Graduates are preferred and encouraged to apply.
- Good communication and negotiation skills with a pleasant personality.
- Ability to speak in English and Mandarin.
- Reliable and responsible.
- Possess own transport.
