Job Description
- To represent the Company in resolving industrial relations and labour disputes between the Company and employees at Industrial Relations Department and Labour Department.
- To conduct investigations and prepare investigation report for Management’s evaluation.
- To act as Presenting Officer during the Domestic Inquiry.
- To review cases reported to HR involving misconduct/employment issues and liaise with respective Department/Units for further investigation.
- To investigate and escalate staff grievances to the appropriate channels.
- Interprets policy and relevant legislation and recommends appropriate action to ensure compliance.
- To provide counselling to employees on work related problem
- To draft Show Cause letters, Charge Letter, Punishment Letters etc.
- To provide advice on disciplinary and policies matters to the business units.
- To manage the performance improvement plan and able to manage the grievances cases,
- To manage daily routine activities in the IR Department.
- To conduct IR related training for employees.
Job requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Human Resource Management, Law or equivalent.
- At least 6-7 year(s) of working experience which at least 5 years’ experience in Industrial Relations.
- Well versed in the key sections of the Industrial Relations Act 1967 and Employment Act.
- Established good rapport with IR / Labour Office officers.
