About the Role
To drive increased business value from our key strategic Technology vendors to AIA through a more structured approach to relationship and performance management.- Develop, manage and strengthen the overall strategic relationship with some of AIA’s key strategic vendors to enhance value to AIA over and above existing contractual commitments.
- Drive increased levels of performance from key strategic vendors.
- Identify and lead continuous performance improvements with demonstrable business and/or financial value and benefits.
- Develop and lead the implementation of service improvement plans.
- Accountability for commercial and contractual dispute resolution.
- Encourage and drive innovation opportunities which will create incremental business value – e.g. cost reduction, income generation.
- Reduce risk exposure through issue resolution and proactive identification/mitigation of risks.
- Accountability for developing and managing formal Governance structures and meetings including escalation processes.
- Develop vendor performance reporting (e.g. dashboards) to share with key stakeholders.
- Development of measurement mechanisms and communication plans to demonstrate the value add of the role.
- Roll out of best practice methodology to AIA country Technology teams where needed.
- Identification and leadership of cost reduction opportunities where they may exist.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education
- University graduate
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in a vendor or contract management function, preferably in the IT sector
