Your Role:
As the Project Manager / Turnaround (TA) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the
planning, execution, and successful completion of projects. Your expertise will be
crucial in managing resources, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the highest
quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Develop comprehensive project plans with clear scope, objectives, schedules, and
budgets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Proactively manage project risks, issues, and changes to achieve successful outcomes.
- Coordinate project resources, including manpower, equipment, consumables, and
materials, and present commercial proposals to clients.
Client Coordination and Communication:
- Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their needs and providing
timely updates.
- Resolve client concerns and offer solutions to ensure their satisfaction.
Resource Management:
- Allocate and manage project resources efficiently.
- Ensure project teams have the necessary tools and support to complete tasks.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance as needed.
Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure all project activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company
policies.
- Implement quality assurance processes for top-tier service delivery.
- Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure adherence to plans and
specifications.
Financial Management:
- Oversee project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and financial targets are met.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and records.
- Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
- Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
Turnaround (TA) Responsibilities:
- Oversee all turnaround personnel and sub-contractors.
- Make decisions related to all works on-site and off-site.
- Dedicate full-time presence at the site during TA execution and attend daily progress
meetings.
- Update and ensure daily progress, take immediate action on any schedule slippage,
and ensure smooth operations.
- Achieve TA Performance Milestones as per the agreed plan.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A master’s
degree is a plus.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry, with at
least 2 major Mechanical Static Turnaround projects managed.
- Strong understanding of engineering, service, and maintenance processes in the oil &
gas sector.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
