Production Operations Engineer - 3 Shifts

Job Descriptions:

1. To assist Production Manager in overall Production Operations direction to achieve continuous improvement in terms of system efficiency, product quality, productivity as well as cost efficiency and continuous improvement methodologies.
2. To monitor daily production operation in order to improve product quality, productivity as well as cost efficiency.
3. To initiate trouble shooting and countermeasures on machinery fault and defective quality discrepancies via proper planning and systematic analysis.
4. To introduce effective methodologies of process control instrumentations and chemical formulations. 
5. To improve the stability of machinery performance via systematic preventive maintenance plan and shutdown maintenance project.
6. To compile the specification, technology and standard of machinery, equipment and instrumentation. 
7. To ensure production operation, system and activities are complied with procedures and work instructions as well as reviewing when necessary to reflect the actual or rational practices. 
8. To introduce effective way to manage, monitor, plan and control of general engineering spare parts, instrumentations and consumables.
9. To introduce environmental approaches and concepts to reduce, reuse and recycle of natural resources and conservation of energy. 
10. To liaise and coordinate with internal departments or external contractors during repair, revamp or upgrading projects.
11. To monitor and maintain the existing SCADA system, insuring its maximum utilization and applications. 
12. To induce keen motivation and discipline awareness, promoting teamwork enthusiasm and spirit in the working environment.
13. To encourage practices of cleanliness and tidiness at work place and to ensure the well management of tools and accessories and working environment.
14. To comply the implementation of safety rules and regulation.
15. Shall assist HOD/ superior to secure the environmental, safety, health and welfare of employee or any other related party against risk to environmental, safety or health.
16. Other assigned duties as required.

Job Requirements:

A. Qualification 

• Candidate must possess Diploma or Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Polymer Science/ Mechanical / Electrical / Process Engineering or equivalent.

B. Experience

• At least 2 - 3 years’ working experience in related field
