We are looking for a dynamic Senior Accounts Executive to join our team.
The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, and providing accurate financial information to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, invoices, and payments in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and budgets for review by management.
- Managing the cash flow position, preparing monthly bank reconciliation and monthly cashflow forecast.
- Performing Balance Sheet Reconciliation and account analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and vendors, to address inquiries and resolve issues as needed.
- Assist in financial audits, provide support in tax filing and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic audits and assessments to ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards to ensure best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and improve processes.
- Assist in other ad-hoc assignment as and when it is required.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking/ Business Analytics, or equivalent.
- At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Proficiency in accounting software (eg. AutoCount) and MS Office suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Assertive, creative, good interpersonal skills, highly driven and self-motivated for a fast-paced evolving environment
