Major Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Inventory Management: Help oversee stock levels, assist with ordering and receiving products, and conduct inventory counts.
  • Receiving and Shipping: Assist in the receiving and delivery processes, ensuring all items are checked, documented, handled properly, and addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Delivery Coordination: Assist in scheduling and coordinating deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch of orders and efficient routing of delivery vehicles.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the routine maintenance and inspection of warehouse equipment, reporting any malfunctions or required repairs.
  • Operational Support: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained, addressing any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing reports on inventory levels, order fulfilment, and warehouse performance metrics.
  • Problem-Solving: Address operational issues as they arise, providing solutions and support to ensure minimal disruption to warehouse operations.

Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Moderate verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia. Candidates fluent in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
  • Strong focus on accuracy, especially in inventory management and order fulfilment.
  • Organizational skills. Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping/receiving processes and experience working with delivery drivers.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse work.
