Job Responsibilities:
1. Finance and Accounting
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger for 3 countries – Singapore (HQ), Malaysia and Thailand.
- Detailed cashflow planning for Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand including managing Accounts Receivables and Account Payables.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Banking function and cash management for 3 countries, preparing transactions for approval by management, liaising and coordinating with bank branches on various matters
- Coordinate and support on preparation of financial statements and audited reports for 3 countries – Singapore (HQ), Malaysia and Thailand.
- Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support
- Coordinate with external advisors to ensure compliance with statutory audit and tax requirements in 3 countries
- Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports as requested by senior management.
2. HR and Administration
- Doing monthly payroll into online portal - for 3 countries – Singapore (HQ), Malaysia and Thailand.
- Monitor leave application and submission expense claims for director approval through email.
- Dealing with landlord matters for offices in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand including renovations, lease renewal negotiations and attendant documentation
- Ensuring general compliance with manpower or HR policies in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand in relation to staff welfare, hiring and termination practices, recruitment, performance appraisal, etc
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, dealing with financial statement and auditor report
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
