Remote Flexibility is Great, but Career Growth and Office Return Push are Concerns

Working here as a remote Customer Support specialist has been a mixed bag. While the flexibility of remote work and the international team are definite highlights, the lack of clear advancement paths and the management's push to return to the office are significant drawbacks. The company offers a fun international working environment with lots of team building, but the flat hierarchy means growth opportunities are scarce. It's a decent place for short-term, especially for roles like customer support where you can work remotely, but long-term career progression seems limited.

Pros

Flexible remote working options and an international team.

Cons

Very few opportunities for advancement due to a flat hierarchy.

Advice to Management

Please establish clearer promotion paths and listen to employee feedback regarding remote work policies. The push to return to the office feels counterproductive given the success of remote roles.

Solid Job Security, Steady Pace Here
Pros: The best part is definitely the job security here in the Amsterdam office; I've felt pretty safe as a Digital Marketing Specialist. Even when the mobile entertainment market got shaky, the company felt stable, which is a huge plus. They also offer decent benefits for a mid-sized company.
Cons: Career growth can feel slow, there aren't many clear paths forward. Innovation is often lacking in the digital content department, which is a bit tough to deal with. Is work flexibility good? It's okay with hybrid options, but it's not truly flexible like some pure tech startups.
Advice to Management: Management should really think about clearer career development plans for roles like mine. Also, try to foster more innovation; it feels like we're always playing it safe instead of leading in the digital content industry.

Decent Team, Culture Can Be Tough
Pros: I've met some really good people here, especially within the marketing department. There's also decent exposure to different aspects of the digital media industry if you're keen to learn.
Cons: The company culture feels a bit inconsistent, like it's still finding its identity. Communication from upper management in the Kuala Lumpur office can be pretty vague, which makes things confusing for us as Digital Marketing Specialists.
Advice to Management: Try to define and communicate company values more clearly. Improve transparency, especially when it comes to strategic decisions affecting teams.
