Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading data center construction and engineering company to hire an experienced Electrical Engineer based at the KVTP Project, Kapar, Selangor, Malaysia, supporting the delivery of large-scale data center construction projects.
About The Role
The Challenge
Play a key role in the construction delivery of large-scale data center facilities by coordinating electrical construction activities, monitoring project execution, and ensuring project objectives for quality, safety, schedule, and technical compliance are achieved.

What You Will Do
- Support the construction delivery of large-scale IDC/AIDC data center projects.
- Coordinate construction activities with Colo providers, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and technical compliance throughout project execution.
- Support testing, commissioning, project delivery, and customer handover of high-capacity data center facilities.
- Resolve construction issues and provide technical support to ensure project requirements are achieved.
Who We Are Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in electrical construction, MEP, EPC, industrial, or data center projects.
- Experience working on data center construction projects is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with mission-critical facilities, electrical infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects will be an advantage.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, clients, or Colo providers.
- Overseas project experience will be an advantage.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction project delivery.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and resolve site-related technical issues.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential to effectively communicate with project stakeholders, suppliers, and management based in China.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
