Hybrid model is decent for internal roles
Amtec Staffing has a decent hybrid setup for internal staff, especially in their Irvine, CA office. However, the nature of being a Recruiter in the staffing industry means true work-life balance and flexibility can be tough to achieve, despite the WFH options. You're always connected.
I liked the hybrid work setup. As a Recruiter, I could work from home a couple of days a week, which was a big help for my commute in Southern California. The company does offer some good remote opportunities for contract employees too.
Even with hybrid, it's hard to truly disconnect. Being in the recruitment industry means you're always on call for candidates and clients. There isn't much flexibility when you're managing urgent temporary roles.
Try to set clearer boundaries for client and candidate communication, especially after hours. This would really help with work-life balance for the recruitment team.
