Hybrid Model Can Feel Like Onsite
As a Software Engineer at JPMorganChase, the promised hybrid model doesn't always deliver on flexibility. It's tough sometimes balancing personal life with the return-to-office expectations, especially for tech roles.
You do get some WFH days, which is nice for avoiding the Plano, TX traffic. The company's size means solid benefits and job security in financial services. It's a structured corporate environment.
The hybrid model often feels more like mandatory onsite days. There's less work flexibility than I hoped for, even for tech roles. It can be hard to plan personal appointments around the strict office schedule.
Really consider how the hybrid model impacts employees in different roles. More genuine flexibility, especially for Software Engineer positions, would boost morale.
