We are looking for an engineer experienced in complex, regulated environments to design, build, and run robust Azure solutions at scale.
Your Role
You will lead the implementation and governance of enterprise Azure environments, acting as the primary specialist for complex hybrid and multi-cloud networking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Networking: Design, deploy, and manage complex network topologies connecting Azure with on-premises datacenters and other cloud vendors.
- Core Network Connectivity: Implement and maintain robust connections using ExpressRoute, Site-to-Site VPN, and secure IPsec tunnels.
- Azure Architecture: Build secure, scalable environments using hub-and-spoke models, security zones, and policy-based controls.
- Automation: Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, Terraform, Azure CLI, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Operations & Governance: Take ownership of environments from build through operations, including subscription management and optimization.
- Monitoring & Security: Monitor and troubleshoot environments using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics while applying strict security controls.
What You Bring
- Required Certifications: AZ-700 (Azure Network Engineer Associate) and AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate) or higher.
- Azure Expertise: 4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS services.
- Advanced Networking Skills: Strong experience setting up multi-site, multi-cloud, and hybrid networks using ExpressRoute, VPN, and IPsec.
- Automation Focus: Scripting proficiency in Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps.
- Security Mindset: Practical knowledge of Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and compliance in regulated sectors like banking.
- Hybrid Systems: Confidence working across both Windows and Linux environments.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to communicate technical networking concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations.
