About the Role
Are you someone who notices the details others miss? At TaskUs, we are looking for a Video Data Annotator to help us identify, track, and label objects in video footage. Your work will play a vital role in helping modern technology "understand" the world around it. You will be responsible for meticulously labeling and annotating video content, ensuring high-quality ground truth data that powers AI performance.
This is a remote, project-based opportunity perfect for individuals who thrive in tasks requiring high precision, consistency, and a deep understanding of visual context.

Key Responsibilities
- Object Identification & Labeling: Accurately identify, classify, and draw bounding boxes, polygons, or keypoints around specific objects within video frames.
- Temporal Tracking: Ensure consistency of object labels across consecutive frames, maintaining stable tracking throughout video clips.
- Quality Adherence: Follow strict annotation guidelines and project protocols to ensure data accuracy and minimize error rates.
- Data Validation: Review and correct existing annotations, providing feedback on edge cases or ambiguous visual data.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with project managers and quality assurance teams to clarify annotation rules and report technical issues.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in data annotation, specifically with video/image labeling tools, is highly preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to proprietary or industry-standard annotation software.
- Exceptional focus on visual details; must be able to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy over extended periods.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and maintain a consistent workflow once the project begins.
- Proficient in written English to understand project guidelines and communicate effectively (C1 Level).
- You have to be phisically located in Philippines.

- A stable, high-speed internet connection.
- A reliable computer with a screen resolution capable of handling detailed visual work.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting.

Application and Onboarding Process
To maintain our high standards of data security and quality, all candidates must successfully complete the following application and onboarding steps before being eligible for live production:
- Application: Please submit your CV and complete the application form here . As part of our screening, shortlisted candidates will complete a test to demonstrate their data labeling experience and create an account in Taskverse .
- Background Verification: A standard background check is required for all contract team members to ensure data security compliance.
- Paid Mandatory Training: Upon clear screening, you will enter a dedicated training program. You will be introduced to our proprietary annotation tools and project guidelines. All training hours are fully compensated.
- Production Qualification & Placement: After completing the paid training, a brief practical assessment will be conducted. Because this is an early-stage application, candidates who pass this final qualification will be placed in our priority pool and officially transition into live production tasks when the project begins.
