Job Description - Project Coordinator
Actalent's client in Calgary is seeking a Project Coordinator to support bridge, concrete, and civil infrastructure projects throughout Alberta. This individual will work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent, assisting with field coordination, scheduling, quantity tracking, progress billing, QA/QC inspections, quality documentation, safety reporting, inspections, and project administration. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of Project Coordination experience in the field, is highly organized, and is looking to build a long-term career path toward Project Management.
MUST HAVES
- Experience supporting civil, bridge, concrete, or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge (3-5 years) of concrete processes, including rebar inspections, concrete pours, quantity tracking, and quality documentation
- Experience conducting QA/QC inspections, deficiency tracking, inspection reports, and project closeout documentation
- Experience on projects valued at $5M+
- Experience with project scheduling and budget tracking
- Experience with quantity tracking and monthly progress billing
- Civil Engineering degree, Civil Engineering Technology diploma, or related construction education
- Valid driver's license
NICE TO HAVES
- Bridge construction experience
- Rebar inspection coordination
- Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, InEight, SmartSheets, or similar construction/project coordination software

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
