Pros: I've really enjoyed the collaborative atmosphere here. My colleagues are super supportive, and there's a strong emphasis on continuous learning, which is huge in the pharmaceutical industry. Management generally trusts us to get our work done, offering good flexibility with my schedule as a Medical Science Liaison, often working a hybrid model. It's a stable company, which is great for job security.
Cons: Sometimes the internal approval processes can feel a bit slow and bureaucratic, which can be a real drag when you're trying to get things done efficiently, especially in a fast-paced field like the pharmaceutical industry. Also, while there are development opportunities, career growth isn't always as fast as I'd hoped; promotions can take a while, even with solid performance. It means you need to have a lot of patience if you're looking to climb the ladder quickly.
Advice to Management: I'd suggest looking into streamlining some of the internal approval processes to help teams be more agile. Also, clearer paths for career advancement and promotions would be a huge motivator for many employees.
