Okay for a tech startup, but watch out for crunch.
Pros: The team is great, and I've learned a lot working on the core food delivery app. We have a pretty decent hybrid work model, which is nice for flexibility a few days a week.
Cons: Work-life balance can be tough, especially as a Software Engineer. There are definitely periods of intense crunch, and it's hard to switch off sometimes when you're in the Singapore office.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project scope and set more realistic deadlines to prevent burnout. More focus on sustainable pacing for tech teams would help.

Pay is just okay for big tech
Pros: The health benefits are actually pretty solid for a big tech company, especially the dental coverage. As a Senior Software Engineer, I've seen worse packages in the e-commerce industry, so it's not terrible.
Cons: Base salary for tech roles in the Singapore office isn't competitive with peers, especially for the workload. Annual bonuses are pretty inconsistent, and stock options aren't really a thing here. Total compensation feels a bit behind the market for a food delivery platform.
Advice to Management: You really need to reassess base salaries for technical roles to stay competitive in the food delivery platform space. Clearer bonus structures and considering stock options would also help employee retention for the hybrid work model.

Pay is okay, benefits are pretty standard.
Pros: As a Junior Product Manager, the base salary in the Singapore office is pretty decent. It's competitive enough for the local food delivery industry. You also get a solid health insurance plan and there's a yearly bonus, which is a nice perk.
Cons: Don't expect super fast pay raises; career progression can feel slow here. The overall compensation package isn't top-tier, especially compared to some other big tech companies. There aren't many extra perks beyond the standard stuff.
Advice to Management: Review the compensation structure, especially for mid-level roles, to stay competitive with other big tech players in the Singapore market.
