Pay is Commission-Heavy, Standard Staffing Agency
Pros: The commission structure for Recruitment Consultants can be pretty good if you're hitting your targets. You can definitely make solid money if you're a high performer in the Singapore office. Basic health benefits are also decent.
Cons: Base salary isn't amazing, especially for junior folks in the recruitment industry. It's really tough if you have a slow month, as your take-home pay can drop a lot. There aren't many extra perks or bonuses outside of sales performance.
Advice to Management: Consider improving the base salary for junior Recruitment Consultants to offer more financial stability. Also, look into non-monetary perks to boost morale beyond just sales targets.

Fast-paced agency, but job security is a concern
Pros: As a Recruitment Consultant in the Singapore office, I really got a crash course in the staffing solutions industry. They push you to build client relationships fast, which is good experience. It's solid for new recruiters to learn the ropes.
Cons: Job security isn't the best here, especially when client demands fluctuate. There's constant pressure to hit targets, and I saw a lot of turnover for entry-level recruiters. It can feel like your role is always on the line.
Advice to Management: Try to create more stable roles and retention programs, especially for good performers. Reduce the pressure on hitting targets during slower market periods.
