Pros: The team in the New York City office is pretty solid. I've learned a lot about market data analytics as a Financial Analyst, which is great for my career path. The hybrid work model is also a nice perk.
Cons: Leadership can feel a bit disconnected from day-to-day operations in this corporate environment. There's not much active mentorship, which is tough for junior finance roles. It feels like they're focused on high-level strategy and less on employee development.
Advice to Management: Try to be more visible and engage with individual contributors, especially in the junior finance roles. Active mentorship programs would really help with employee retention and career progression.

Pros: It's good that BGC Group offers a hybrid model, especially in the demanding financial services industry. As an Operations Associate, I appreciated the few days remote from my New York City apartment. It definitely helps avoid the daily commute grind.
Cons: However, don't expect full WFH. Most of the time, you're expected in the office. It's not truly flexible beyond those set hybrid days, which can be tough when personal stuff comes up. Also, the in-office hours are pretty long.
Advice to Management: Management should really consider offering more WFH days or even full remote for certain Operations roles. It would boost morale and show more trust in employees.
