Good Place for Tech Professionals in Crypto
Pros: The team here is incredibly supportive, and I've learned a ton about blockchain and fintech. We're working on some cutting-edge stuff in the digital asset space, which keeps things interesting. There's a real emphasis on collaboration and continuous learning.
Cons: Sometimes the approval processes can feel a bit slow for a fast-paced industry like crypto. Communication could be clearer between different departments, especially on larger cross-functional projects, to streamline workflows.
Advice to Management: Continue to streamline internal communication and approval workflows to keep up with the fast pace of the digital asset industry.

Crypto pay is decent, benefits are basic
Pros: As a Junior Blockchain Developer in the Hong Kong office, the base salary felt pretty solid. It's competitive for this part of the digital asset industry. Performance bonuses were also a nice perk when targets were hit.
Cons: The benefits package isn't great, though. Healthcare coverage wasn't very comprehensive. There's no 401k or similar retirement matching, which really feels like a miss for a growing company.
Advice to Management: Look at enhancing the overall benefits package. Better healthcare options and some form of retirement contribution would definitely help attract and retain talent in this competitive industry.

Okay Flexibility, But Has Its Limits
Pros: I appreciated the hybrid work options they offered for Compliance Analyst roles; it wasn't a strict 5-day in the Hong Kong office. It's nice to have a bit of WFH sometimes. That flexibility helped with my daily commute.
Cons: While hybrid work is available, the flexibility can be inconsistent between teams. Sometimes, there's pressure to be available very late due to global blockchain technology projects. It makes planning personal time tough.
Advice to Management: Standardize the hybrid and WFH policies across all departments. Clear guidelines would really help improve work-life balance and overall employee morale.

Work Flexibility is a Bit of a Mixed Bag
Pros: There's a decent setup in the Hong Kong office. You can work from home once a week sometimes, which is nice for personal appointments. It's helpful for Software Engineer roles when you need focus.
Cons: The hybrid work policy isn't really flexible though. It's mostly onsite for digital assets teams, and getting approval for more WFH can be tough. Don't expect much freedom beyond the set schedule.
Advice to Management: Revisit the actual implementation of the hybrid work policy. It needs to genuinely support more flexible options, especially for technical roles like in blockchain development.
