Vibrant Culture, Tough Hours for F&B Staff
Pros: The team spirit among the front-of-house crew is genuinely good. You really feel like you're part of something, especially during busy shifts in the Hong Kong dining scene. It's a solid vibe if you like working closely with people.
Cons: But it's a demanding environment for hospitality staff. Long hours are standard, and the high-pressure service can be draining. Sometimes the 'corporate restaurant group' feel overshadows the team culture.
Advice to Management: Try to find ways to support F&B staff with better scheduling and more downtime. Acknowledging the long hours and high pressure could help boost morale and maintain the positive team culture.

Growth is there, but you gotta fight for it
Pros: I've learned a lot about restaurant operations here. There's good exposure to different culinary concepts in Hong Kong. It's a solid place for getting initial hospitality management experience.
Cons: Career progression for Assistant Manager roles can be really slow. There aren't many clear pathways to move up. It often feels like you're just waiting for someone to leave.
Advice to Management: Create clearer development plans for mid-level staff. Outline specific goals for promotion to make career growth more transparent.

Decent spot, but work-life balance can be rough
Pros: The team is usually great, a real supportive group. You learn a ton about efficient restaurant operations, which is solid for career growth in the hospitality industry.
Cons: As a Restaurant Manager in Hong Kong, the work-life balance is super tough. You're constantly working long hours, especially on weekends, so it's hard to have much personal time.
Advice to Management: Try to implement better staffing models or more structured days off for managers. The burnout is real, and it affects retention.
