Okay culture, definitely a startup feel.
Pros: It's a pretty open environment, which is nice. As a Logistics Software Engineer, you get to work on cool supply chain optimization problems. The hybrid work model in Austin, TX is a big plus too.
Cons: The company culture can feel a bit fragmented sometimes. There's not a lot of clear communication from leadership, especially for a growing startup. Team events are rare, so it's tough to build strong connections.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving internal communication and investing in more team-building activities. It would help a lot with the overall company culture and cohesion for this supply chain platform startup.

Leadership has good intentions but needs work
Pros: My direct manager is solid. They really understand our supply chain software development process and give us autonomy. As a Software Engineer, I feel trusted to get my work done.
Cons: Upper leadership struggles with clear direction. It feels like decisions about the supply chain platform shift often without much explanation. Communication for us remote employees can be spotty, which gets frustrating.
Advice to Management: Focus on transparent communication from the top down. Involve team leads more in strategic decisions for the future of the supply chain platform.

Okay for learning, tough for career growth
Pros: You really get to dig into supply chain software, which is cool for new folks. They offer some decent online courses to beef up your skills. It's solid for building foundational knowledge as a Logistics Analyst.
Cons: Honestly, there isn't a clear path to move up here. Promotions feel pretty rare, even in this flexible hybrid model. Smaller teams mean not many new roles open up often.
Advice to Management: Create clearer development plans for employees. We need to see what's next for our careers. Invest more in internal training for different roles, not just external courses.
