Flexible hours aren't really a thing here
Pros: As a Front Desk Agent, your schedule is pretty consistent. You usually know your shifts far in advance, which is decent for planning personal stuff. The team is also pretty good about helping each other out if someone needs a day off.
Cons: Work flexibility isn't really a strong point in the hospitality industry, especially for onsite roles like ours. There's zero work-from-home option, and swapping shifts can be a real hassle with management. It's tough to get any real work-life balance when you're always tied to the property.
Advice to Management: Try to find ways to offer more flexibility, even small things like easier shift swaps or predictable time off requests. It really helps with employee morale in the luxury resort environment.
