Pros: As a Software Developer here, you get decent project autonomy. There's a solid push for innovation in our niche market. The team leads are generally supportive and pretty transparent when they can be.
Cons: Upper management often makes decisions without enough input from the engineering teams. This leads to scope creep and missed deadlines, which is tough for project management. I've seen good ideas from middle management get shot down too quickly.
