Pros: Some of the direct managers really care about their teams. They give you a good amount of autonomy as a Software Engineer. It's nice working remote from home, that flexibility helps a lot.
Cons: The leadership team doesn't always seem aligned. It makes project priorities shift too much, which is frustrating. For a mid-sized company in the recruitment industry, I'd expect more stable direction from the top.
Advice to Management: Work on clearer, consistent communication from executive leadership down. Empower direct managers more and ensure the vision doesn't change every quarter.
