We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic
Kitchenhand to join our fantastic Food & Beverage team on a
casual basis at the
RAAFA Club in Meadow Springs. The RAAFA Club is the heartbeat of the estate and is a vibrant facility that boasts contemporary function rooms, meeting spaces and a casual, friendly dining experience for members and their guests.

The Role And You
As a Kitchenhand, you will assist the Food & Beverage team by:
- Washing and cleaning utensils, dishes and ensuring appropriate storage
- Handling, sorting, storing and distributing food items
- Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and preparing food items, including assisting with salads and desserts
- Sorting and disposing of rubbish and recycling
- Organising laundering of kitchen linen
- Cleaning all food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools and areas
- Delivering food to the Lodge at meal times
- Demonstrating good organisational and time management skills
- Working autonomously with limited supervision and under pressure when required
- Working effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement principles
- Maintaining knowledge of food hygiene regulations and safe food handling practices
Essential Requirements
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene regulations
- Current Food Safe training (desirable)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and flexible availability to work a variety of shifts
- Valid "C" Class Driver's Licence
