Decent Culture, But Be Ready for Long Hours
Pros: Teams are generally supportive, which is a big plus. There's a decent sense of camaraderie, especially when you're working on challenging renewable energy projects. People really help each other out in the Kuala Lumpur office.
Cons: Work-life balance can be really tough for Project Engineer roles here. It's often long hours, and sometimes the communication from leadership isn't great. The big corporate structure can feel a bit slow sometimes.
Advice to Management: Try to improve communication channels, especially between different departments. And really look at the workload for project teams in the offshore energy sector; it's a lot.
