It's a Decent Start, but Stability Varies
Pros: It's cool being at the center of the FinTech industry in Indonesia, especially as a Partnership Associate. You learn a lot about digital finance trends and regulations, which is great for career development. There's good exposure to various companies in the Jakarta FinTech scene.
Cons: Job security can be a bit up and down. Since it's an association dealing with a fast-moving FinTech sector, priorities change quickly, and I've seen some projects get cancelled. The overall direction isn't always super clear, which can make things feel a bit less stable for roles like mine.
Advice to Management: Try to provide more clarity on strategic direction and long-term project commitments. This would help alleviate job security concerns for employees working across the FinTech ecosystem.

Hybrid model works well for senior roles
Pros: I can WFH a few days a week, which is great for personal appointments. As a Policy Analyst, it's easy to manage my schedule and deep work. The company's stance on work flexibility is pretty solid for the fintech industry.
Cons: It's not fully remote, so you still need to be in the Jakarta office regularly. Junior staff seem to have less flexibility and are often expected onsite. Sometimes project deadlines mean working longer hours, regardless of the hybrid model.
Advice to Management: Consider extending the hybrid model more consistently to all levels. Help teams set better boundaries around project work to truly support work-life balance.
