Pros: You get to touch a lot of different projects which is good exposure as a Junior Software Engineer. The initial learning curve is solid, and I liked the hybrid work model from the San Francisco office. You're not siloed, which is a plus.
Cons: There's not a lot of clear career growth path here. For software development roles, it feels like promotions are few and far between once you pass the entry-level stage. Senior mentorship is also pretty limited, so it's hard to really level up your skills quickly.
Advice to Management: Really focus on creating clearer promotion tracks for engineers. Invest in more senior mentorship programs and formal training for career growth within the company.
