Pros: The base salary for a Software Engineer here is decent, especially for a startup. We get pretty solid health insurance, which is a big plus. It's nice working remotely from Seattle too.
Cons: However, the compensation overall feels a bit below market rate compared to other tech companies. Don't expect huge bonuses or stock options. The 401k match isn't great either.
Advice to Management: Revisit the compensation structure for all engineering roles. Offering more competitive equity or better 401k matching would really help with retention in this competitive tech market.
