Decent Start, Growth Can Be A Bit Slow
Pros: The initial training for actuarial roles is solid. You get decent exposure to real-world risk assessment and policy development in the Jakarta office. It's a stable company with good benefits.
Cons: Career growth can feel slow. There aren't always clear promotion paths, and you might stay in the same position for a while. Sometimes, you feel overlooked for bigger projects.

Career growth is decent if you speak up
Pros: They do offer some internal training programs, which helps for skills development in claims processing. If you're proactive and network, there are chances to move up, especially in the Jakarta office. It's a big company, so roles exist.
Cons: Formal career paths for a Claims Adjuster aren't very clear. Promotions can feel slow sometimes, and it feels like you have to really fight for new opportunities. It's tough to move between departments unless you know someone.

Leadership is okay, but could be better
Pros: I've learned a lot working here as a Claims Analyst. The team camaraderie in the Jakarta office is solid, which makes daily tasks easier. There's also good exposure to the wider insurance industry.
Cons: Leadership often seems disconnected from ground-level work. They don't always listen to feedback from us in operational roles, which can be frustrating. Decision-making feels slow for a large corporate company.
