Pros: They've got a solid health insurance plan, which is a big plus. The 401k match is pretty good too, especially for a global agribusiness company. You do get a company car if you're in a field-based sales role, which saves a lot.
Cons: Base salaries for Agronomist roles aren't super competitive in the Morrisville, NC area. Raises have been pretty small year over year, sometimes barely keeping up with inflation. Don't expect huge bonuses unless you're in top-tier management.
Advice to Management: Focus on bringing base salaries up to market rate. It's hard to attract top talent in the agricultural chemicals industry if compensation isn't competitive.

Pros: Being in the agricultural chemicals industry means there's always a need for crop protection. As a Sales Agronomist, I felt pretty secure knowing the market for our products is stable. There's a solid customer base that keeps things going.
Cons: Honestly, the company structure can feel a bit top-heavy sometimes. You worry about budget cuts impacting field roles, especially when working remote. It's not the most transparent when changes are happening, which can make you question long-term stability.
Advice to Management: Be more open with employees about company strategy and potential organizational changes. Transparency would build more trust and help with job security concerns.

Pros: The team in the Chicago office is really solid. I've had some great colleagues as a Logistics Coordinator. It's a stable gig in the agricultural chemicals industry, which is good for job security.
Cons: The company culture can feel pretty dated sometimes. There isn't much opportunity for career growth or moving up. Work flexibility isn't really a thing here, it's mostly onsite, not much WFH.
Advice to Management: Management needs to focus on modernizing the company culture. Create more clear paths for career growth for roles like a Logistics Coordinator. Think about offering more work flexibility options.
