There are also good learning opportunities in the Information Technology industry, which is great for career development. It feels like a stable place to work, especially for an on-site role in Jakarta.
Cons: The promotion process sometimes feels a little slow, and it's not always super clear what steps you need to take. Also, while the pay is okay, it's probably not industry-leading for Software Engineers in this Information Technology market. Some legacy systems also make development a bit challenging.
Advice to Management: Consider making the career path and promotion criteria more transparent. Also, a clearer roadmap for updating some of the older technology would be beneficial for the engineering teams.
