Decent place to learn, but growth can be slow
Pros: You'll get tons of hands-on experience, especially in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. The team culture in the Jakarta office is really supportive. We work together well to make sure fresh produce delivery runs smoothly for our customers.
Cons: Job security can feel a bit shaky during growth phases. They're a startup, so reorgs happen without much notice sometimes. For an Operations Associate, it made me worry about my future here.
Advice to Management: Management should focus more on clear career paths and transparent communication around organizational changes to help with employee retention and alleviate job security concerns.

Okay flexibility for a growing startup
Pros: You can get some WFH days if your team allows it, which is decent for a tech startup like Segari. For some tech roles, there's a pretty solid hybrid model. It helps balance personal life sometimes.
Cons: As a Logistics Coordinator, it's really hard to get consistent work flexibility. The supply chain demands mean you're often onsite in the Jakarta office. Last-minute schedule changes for last-mile delivery operations are common, which isn't great for planning.
Advice to Management: Try to give more predictable schedules for operational roles, even with the demands of the e-grocery industry. Better tools might help.

Job Security Can Be Dicey Here
Pros: I gained a ton of experience in the e-commerce startup scene, which was really valuable. The team in the Jakarta office was mostly solid, and we all pushed hard to grow in the competitive grocery delivery industry.
Cons: Job security is a real concern, especially for Operations Associate roles. There's frequent restructuring and it feels like headcount is always changing in this fast-paced tech environment. It's tough to feel stable or plan long-term.
Advice to Management: Try to provide more clarity and stability regarding roles and team structures. Better communication about future plans would really help with employee morale and reduce anxiety.

Fast-paced startup, lots of learning but demanding
Pros: As a Junior Data Analyst, I've learned so much in this startup environment. The team in the Jakarta office is super collaborative; everyone helps out. It's a really dynamic place if you like the e-grocery industry.
Cons: The company culture can be pretty intense though. Expect long hours, it's definitely not a 9-to-5 job. Work-life balance here isn't great, especially when facing logistics challenges, and things change fast.
Advice to Management: Try to make sure teams aren't constantly burning out. Maybe look at more structured ways to manage projects so it's not always a sprint.

Fast-Paced, Be Ready for Long Hours
Pros: You learn so much so fast, especially about online groceries and last-mile logistics. The team's pretty solid, and for a tech startup, it's a great place to jumpstart your career if you're fresh out of school. You get a lot of responsibility early on.
Cons: The work-life balance here is tough. As an Operations Associate, you're often working long hours, sometimes 10-12 hour days. Weekend work isn't uncommon, especially during peak periods. It can be hard to plan much outside of work.
Advice to Management: Try to manage workloads better and maybe bring in more staff to ease the pressure on key operational roles. Burnout is a real concern when people are consistently working late.
