Decent place to learn, but career growth is slow
Pros: I really liked the team I worked with. Everyone was supportive, and it was a great environment for picking up new skills in developing STEM education programs. The initial learning curve for coding curriculum was steep but rewarding, especially for someone new to the youth education sector.
Cons: The biggest issue for me was career growth. There just aren't many opportunities to move up, even if you perform well. It felt like roles were pretty static, and as an Education Program Developer, you hit a ceiling fast. There's no clear path for promotion or professional development.
Advice to Management: Management needs to really think about creating clear career progression paths for employees, especially for roles like Education Program Developer. Invest in professional development and mentorship programs so people don't feel stagnant in this education startup.

Tough to grow here, but the kids are great
Pros: You get to impact young minds directly, especially teaching robotics workshops. The startup environment is pretty energetic, and the team members are generally helpful. I loved the actual teaching part.
Cons: Career growth for a STEM Instructor here is almost non-existent. There aren't many clear paths to promotion or different roles, even with good performance. Training is mostly for new curriculum, not for personal development.
Advice to Management: Create clearer career paths for long-term employees, especially for those in educational technology roles. Invest more in professional development beyond just curriculum training.
