Great Place for Software Engineers Looking for Flexibility
Pros: The hybrid work flexibility is a massive perk, allowing for a good work-life balance. My colleagues are super supportive, and there are always chances to learn new technologies in the software development space. It feels like a stable environment, which is reassuring in the tech industry.
Cons: Sometimes, the career progression for a Software Engineer can feel a bit slow, and getting promotions takes patience. Also, internal communication could be more streamlined; sometimes, it's hard to track all updates.

Leadership has some strong points, but needs work
Pros: I've really enjoyed the hybrid model here in Austin, TX. The pay for a Data Engineer is pretty solid, especially for a mid-sized tech company. My direct manager was actually very supportive.
Cons: Upper leadership can be a real struggle, though. There's a big disconnect between what they say and what actually happens on agile teams. It's tough to get real decisions made.
Advice to Management: Try to connect more with individual teams. Listen to the feedback from us, the people actually doing the engineering work. Real transparency would help a lot.

Leadership has potential, but needs better communication
Pros: My direct technical leads were mostly solid. As a Software Engineer, I learned a lot about modern software development from them. They understand the tech well and are supportive of the team.
Cons: Upper management feels pretty disconnected from daily operations. Decisions often come down suddenly without much explanation for our development team. It makes trying to implement new agile methodologies challenging.
Advice to Management: Focus on clearer, more consistent communication. Involve the technical teams earlier in strategic planning to ensure alignment and buy-in.
