Pros: Some store managers are genuinely supportive, especially for new Retail Assistants learning the ropes. There's a decent team spirit among us on the floor, which makes the daily grind in the food and beverage industry a bit easier to handle.
Cons: Upper management often seems disconnected from daily store operations. It feels like they don't fully get what we deal with on the floor. Store managers are often swamped, leaving little time for proper coaching or consistent guidance.
Advice to Management: Invest more in training and support for store managers. They're stretched too thin. Better communication between corporate and the front-line teams would help a lot in the Kuala Lumpur stores.
