Pros: The senior managers in the Kuala Lumpur office are pretty supportive when you get direct time with them. They genuinely try to help with career growth if you ask. There's a solid focus on learning new tools, which is good for any GIS professional.
Cons: Leadership often seems disconnected from the day-to-day challenges of our mapping projects. It's hard to get big decisions made quickly. Sometimes I felt like they weren't seeing the bigger picture for where the company should go in the geospatial industry.
Advice to Management: Try to spend more time with the project teams. Listen to the folks actually doing the geospatial work and understand their blockers. A clearer vision for the future of the company would also really help motivate everyone.
