Pros: As a Flooring Installer, you're usually onsite, so that's expected in the construction industry. The daily schedule is pretty consistent which is okay for planning personal stuff. We do get solid hours, no short shifts usually.
Cons: Work flexibility is really limited. You can't just switch shifts easily, and there's no option for hybrid work or remote from home, which makes sense for an onsite role in Kuala Lumpur. Taking time off can be a hassle sometimes.
Advice to Management: Maybe look into how to give even a little more flexibility on shift swaps or planned leave. It'd help a lot for morale.
