Pros: It's a really rewarding job, helping residents at this assisted living facility. The team camaraderie among Residential Assistants is solid, which makes the long onsite shifts a bit easier to get through.
Cons: Work-life balance here isn't great, especially with all the mandatory overtime. You're always covering shifts, and it's hard to plan anything outside of work. For direct care roles, it feels like you're always on call.
Advice to Management: Management needs to hire more staff to reduce the burden of mandatory overtime on Residential Assistants. More predictable schedules would really help with employee retention in Columbus, Ohio.
