Strictly Onsite, Not Much Flexibility Here
Pros: The team is actually pretty solid, and you learn a lot about the financial services industry, especially with local market dynamics. Everyone's collaborative, which helps with tough deadlines. It's a good place for initial experience.
Cons: Work flexibility is almost non-existent for Investment Analyst roles. You're expected in the Kuala Lumpur office daily, no real hybrid model. It makes personal appointments tough to manage, and long hours are common.
Advice to Management: Consider offering some form of hybrid work arrangement, even a few days a month. It would really boost morale and help with employee retention in this competitive market.
