Okay culture, but expect long days.
Pros: The teams are pretty tight-knit, which is good. There's a decent camaraderie among the junior engineers. We often grab lunch together. For a mid-sized engineering firm, it's a solid place to learn fabrication skills.
Cons: The company culture here often means long hours. It's not uncommon to stay late, especially when deadlines for structural design projects are tight. Management could do more to promote work-life balance for engineering roles.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project loads to avoid excessive overtime. Promote more actual work-life balance instead of just talking about it. Invest in more resources for engineering roles. Show more
