Okay Culture, Needs a Bit of Modernizing

Pros: The team spirit among fellow Lab Technicians is great; everyone helps each other out with scientific research tasks. You learn a lot if you're new to the laboratory work environment. Colleagues are generally supportive.
Cons: Management can be a bit old-school, which impacts the company culture. There's not much recognition for extra effort in the Kuala Lumpur office. Sometimes it feels like just punching the clock in this corporate setting.
Advice to Management: Try to embrace newer ideas for employee engagement and recognition. Modernize the approach to team building and feedback for us in scientific research roles. Show more
