Project Coordinator

Okay start for project management, but watch out for hours.

Pros: The pay for an entry-level Project Coordinator is solid, definitely competitive in the New York market. I also had a really good team, which made the daily grind a bit easier. It's a stable corporate environment too, so you don't worry about job security much.
Cons: Work-life balance here isn't great, especially for project management roles. I often worked 50-60 hour weeks, mostly due to tight client deadlines and unexpected changes. There's not much work flexibility or WFH options; you're mostly stuck onsite in the office, which is a drag.
Advice to Management: Management should seriously look into how project timelines are set and consider staffing up or allowing more remote flexibility, especially when project managers are consistently putting in extra hours. It's tough on morale. Show more
