Okay Work-Life, But Project Deadlines Hurt
Pros: For a Software Engineer, the standard 9-5 hours in the Kuala Lumpur office are mostly kept. You generally don't work weekends unless it's crunch time. It's decent for entry-level tech roles.
Cons: Sometimes, project deadlines hit hard, and you're stuck doing overtime for IT solution delivery. It's not paid extra, which can be a bummer. There's pressure to deliver quickly.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project timelines to avoid last-minute crunch periods. Fair compensation for overtime would also boost morale for the software development teams. Show more
