Pros: It's a mid-sized firm with a decent pipeline of cloud computing projects. I've felt pretty secure as a Cloud Solutions Architect, especially with the ongoing demand for digital transformation in the Kuala Lumpur market. There's always some work going on.
Cons: The main issue is that new projects can sometimes be a bit unpredictable, so for IT consulting roles, you sometimes wonder about the next big contract. It's not a huge corporate, so job security isn't always ironclad during slower periods. Sometimes I worried about being benched between engagements.
Advice to Management: Try to ensure a more consistent project pipeline to minimize bench time for cloud consulting roles.
