Pros: The team in student services is pretty solid; everyone helps each other out. We had a decent hybrid model for a while which was nice. It's a good entry point if you want to get into higher education.
Cons: Job security isn't great, especially for administrative roles. They often move staff around or don't renew contracts for Program Coordinator positions when enrollment shifts. It creates a lot of uncertainty for us on the Miami campus.
Advice to Management: Management really needs to provide more clarity on long-term positions and contract renewals, especially for crucial administrative roles. Better communication about future plans would help a lot with employee morale and retention.
